At ViewCrest Village Community Garden, our mission is to provide fresh, healthy produce to the local community while promoting sustainable gardening practices.

Our History
We started with an empty space and started to plan a community garden for residents to plant and grow healthy vegetables and herbs for the families.

Garden Features
Several ideas were brought together and we came up with a fenced garden plot of 44' x 22' which holds 18 / 6' long raised garden beds. and 1 / 20' inground bed for squashes and melons.
The New Garden Layout is Done.
The garden planting will begin in the spring and varing time depending on the plants. Some garden boxes are designated for the community harvest share program, (if you are interested in having your own raised bed, you need to contact me).
The harvest share will include: tomatoes, peppers, beans, peas, cucumber, garlic, onion, leafy greens, brussels sprouts, cabbage and more.
Time to Start you Seedlings
As winter approaches, it is time to start your indoor seedlings. Watch for updates on which plants and when to start them indoors, when to harden and when to plant outdoors.
Full of healthy veggies
Our garden features a wide variety of vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers, and more. We also have a composting system to promote sustainable gardening practices.
